Sarah’s musical interests have always been in doing things ‘outside the box’ whilst executing her skills in music with precision. Driven by a passion for classical soundscapes and experimenting with diverse instrumental line-ups, she has developed numerous music groups that push the boundaries of the classical genre. Collaborating with like-minded musicians who share her joy for innovation, Sarah has been a key figure in shaping what is now known as Classical Crossover—a more accessible and popular take on classical music.
Early in her career, Sarah devoted herself to developing classical and film music, aiming to change perceptions and bring live instrumental performances to new audiences. This vision came to life with her band VISION, commissioned by Classic FM and Yamaha. She then went on to gain recognition with Sahara, the first classical crossover ensemble to feature a saxophone, releasing their debut single, Sahara Tango. Taking her passion further, Sarah produced her solo album Project Secret, featuring her hit single Silver Lining. Available as a limited edition CD—get in touch to purchase.
Alongside her own work, she’s been commissioned to compose, string arrange and produce for a range of artists—from classical crossover violinists and opera groups to rock bands—earning respect from fellow Classical Crossover acts and music producers alike.
