Future Classic Women Awards — Finalist
Sarah Saxophone has been named a finalist in the Future Classic Women Awards, a recognition that celebrates women making a mark on the music industry across performance, composition and production. To mark the nomination, Sarah joined Women's Radio Station for an interview about her journey as a saxophonist and composer — from her classical training through to the stages, studios and dance floors where her music lives today.
From Guildhall to the Main Stage
Trained at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Sarah has built a career that moves fluidly between genres — performing classical crossover repertoire at venues like Blenheim Palace and Classic FM Live, while also leading high-energy DJ and saxophone sets across London, Ibiza and beyond. That same versatility runs through her work as a composer, string arranger and music producer, having produced music and curated bands for major television productions.
Being shortlisted for the Future Classic Women Awards reflects not just performance credits, but the breadth of Sarah's contribution to music — as a player, a writer, and a producer shaping other artists' work as well as her own.
